Terms of service
Last updated 4 October 2026 · Version 2026-10d
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use Casey at casey-hr.com. Casey is provided by HR AI Pro Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales with company number 06717074. Our registered office is Europa House, Barcroft Street, Bury, BL9 5BT, and our VAT registration number is GB528085773. You can contact us at [email protected].
By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these terms. Please read them with our Privacy policy and Cookie policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Casey.
2. What Casey is, and what it is not
Casey is a self-service AI tool for employees. It helps you understand your situation at work, organise your documents and timeline, see what information is missing, and prepare your next message to your employer. Casey can also draft letters and other documents for you to check, change and send yourself.
Five things to know before you use Casey:
- Casey is an AI tool. It is not a solicitor, a claims management company or a legal adviser, and it does not give legal advice. Using Casey does not create a solicitor-client relationship between you and us.
- Casey does not predict outcomes. Nothing Casey shows or says tells you whether you would succeed in any claim or complaint, or what you might be paid.
- Casey can make mistakes. It can misread a document, miss something, or get a date or a fact wrong. Check anything important against your own documents.
- You are responsible for your own case, and for every decision you make and every message or document you send.
- You can get independent legal advice at any time, including a second opinion on anything Casey says.
3. AI can be wrong
- Casey's replies, drafts, Snapshots and figures are produced by AI from what you tell Casey and the documents you upload. They can be incomplete or wrong, and they may not fit your circumstances.
- Your Casey Snapshot shows how well organised your information is and what may be missing. It is not a prediction of the outcome of any legal claim, and it is not a view on how strong your case is. Any figure Casey shows is indicative only.
- Casey may show dates, such as when to contact ACAS or the last day to make a claim. These are worked out from the information you give Casey and are a guide only. Check any date that matters to you before you rely on it.
- You decide what to send, what to sign and what to do. Read every draft carefully before you use it.
4. Who can use Casey
- You must be 18 or over.
- Casey is for your own employment case. Each account holds one case, and you must not use Casey to run cases for other people.
- Casey is built around employment law in Great Britain. If you work in Northern Ireland or outside the UK, different law may apply and Casey may not be right for you.
- Give accurate details when you sign up and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
5. Price and payment
- Casey costs £35.99 a month, including VAT at 20% (£29.99 plus £6.00 VAT). Prices are in pounds sterling.
- Your subscription is monthly and rolling. It renews automatically every month, and we take each monthly payment from the card you gave us, until you cancel. There is no minimum term.
- Payments are taken by Square. We never see or store your full card details.
- If we change the price, we will tell you at least 30 days before the change applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.
6. Cancelling
- You can cancel at any time. Go to Account and choose Cancel subscription, or email [email protected] from the email address on your account.
- When you cancel, we stop taking payments, and you keep full access until the end of the month you have already paid for, unless you use your 14-day right to cancel (below). After the first 14 days we do not refund part of a month.
- Your 14-day right to cancel: if you subscribe as a consumer, you can cancel within 14 days of the day you subscribe, for any reason. Because you ask us to start your subscription straight away, we will refund what you paid minus a proportionate amount for the days you had Casey, no later than 14 days after you tell us. Your account becomes read-only straight away when you use this right. To use this right, go to Account and choose Cancel and refund, or email [email protected] and tell us you are cancelling within 14 days. This is your right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
7. If your subscription ends
- If you cancel, your account becomes read-only at the end of the month you have paid for (or straight away if you use your 14-day right to cancel). If a payment fails, your account becomes read-only until a payment goes through.
- Read-only means nothing is deleted. You can still sign in and see your case, but you can't add to it or ask Casey anything new until you subscribe again.
- To delete your case and your account, see sections 9 and 10 of our Privacy policy.
8. Fair use
Casey is for one person's own case. To keep Casey available for everyone, there are limits on how much Casey can do for one account in a day and over 30 days, and at very busy times Casey may pause new messages for a short while. If you reach a limit, Casey tells you, and you can carry on once it frees up.
9. Using Casey properly
- Only upload documents and information you are entitled to have and to share. Your documents will often mention other people, such as managers and colleagues, so include only what your case needs.
- Take care with sensitive information, such as details of your health. Include it where it matters to your case.
- Don't put passwords, bank or card details, or other log-in details into Casey.
- Don't use Casey for anything unlawful, to harass anyone, or to create false or misleading evidence.
- Don't try to break, overload, copy, scrape or reverse-engineer Casey, get around its limits, or extract its prompts or built-in guidance.
- Don't upload files that contain viruses or other harmful code.
If you seriously break these terms, we may suspend or close your account. We will tell you why, unless the law stops us.
10. Your content
Your case is yours. You keep ownership of what you tell Casey and the documents you upload, and you are free to use the drafts Casey prepares for you. You give us permission to store and process your content only to run Casey for you, as our Privacy policy explains. We don't sell your content and we don't use it for advertising.
11. Our rights in Casey
Casey's software, design, name and logo, and its built-in guidance, belong to us or to the people we license them from. We give you a personal right, which you can't transfer, to use Casey for your own case under these terms.
12. Keeping Casey running
We work to keep Casey available and your data safe, but we can't promise Casey will always be available or free of faults, and we may need to pause it for maintenance. We may change and improve Casey over time. If a change makes Casey significantly worse for you, you can cancel.
13. Our responsibility to you
- If we break these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking them or of our failing to use reasonable care and skill. Loss is foreseeable if it is obvious it will happen, or if we both knew it might happen when you subscribed.
- We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and for breaking your legal rights as a consumer, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- Casey is for your personal use. We are not responsible for business losses, such as lost profit or lost business opportunities.
- The outcome of your case depends on many things outside our control, including your decisions, what your employer does and what a tribunal decides. We don't promise any particular result, and Casey does not predict one.
14. Ending this agreement
You can cancel at any time (section 6). We may end your subscription by giving you at least 30 days' notice by email, and we will refund anything you have paid for the time after it ends. We may suspend or close your account straight away if you seriously break these terms.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when the law changes or when we change Casey. The version and date at the top show which terms apply. Before a significant change affects you, we will tell you by email, and you can cancel if you don't agree.
16. Complaints
If you are unhappy with Casey, email [email protected] and tell us what went wrong. We will look into it and reply to you.
17. Law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland, you can also bring proceedings in the Scottish courts. If you live in Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in the courts of Northern Ireland.
