1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser, so it can remember something between one page and the next.

2. The cookies Casey uses

Casey uses only the cookies it needs to keep you signed in, keep the service secure and take your payment. They are strictly necessary for the service you ask for, so we don't need your consent to use them. We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

• Sign-in session. Its name starts with sb- and ends with -auth-token, and when it is long it is split into parts ending .0, .1 and so on. Our sign-in system (Supabase) sets it when you sign in, so Casey knows it is you. Scripts on the page can't read it, it is only sent over a secure connection on casey-hr.com, and it ends after 7 days without a visit or when you sign out.
• Security. Cloudflare, which protects Casey from attacks, may set a cookie such as __cf_bm to tell people apart from automated traffic. It is used only for security.
• Payments. When you start or restart your subscription, our payment page loads Square's card form. Square, which takes card payments for us, and your bank, if it asks you to confirm the payment, may set their own cookies or store similar information in your browser on that page. They are used only to take the payment securely and to prevent fraud.

Casey itself sets no cookies until you sign up or sign in. Cloudflare's security cookie may be set on any page, and Square's and your bank's only on the payment page.

3. No tracking

Our pages don't load analytics, advertising or social media scripts, and we don't use tracking pixels or other tracking technologies.

4. Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block Casey's sign-in cookies, you won't be able to sign in, and if you block Square's, the payment form may not work.

5. Changes to this policy

If we ever want to use cookies that are not strictly necessary, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
